Started in the year 2013, the diploma course in Electrical Engineering encompasses the various aspects of Electrical fields such as machine, switch gear & protection, electrical and electronics measuring instruments, Microprocessor & microcontroller etc.
The Department has traditional and modern laboratories such as Machines Lab, Power Simulation Lab, Switch gear & protection lab, Microprocessor-microcontroller lab and Electric Workshop. Student have the opportunity to learn many practical things related to Electrical Engineering in this lab. To achieve our mission, we provide attractive educational programs for students to learn from the basics to advanced technologies related to Electrical engineering.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)
PSO1: Knowledge and hands-on competence in the application of circuit analysis and design, building, operation, and testing of electrical and electronics systems.
PSO2: In-depth understanding in the domain of D.C and A.C. circuit, electrical machines, electrical measurement and instrumentation, analog & digital electronics, and power electronics & drives. That graduates will be able to analyze, design and implement industrial automation and control systems, microcontroller-based applications, with the use of hardware and software.
PSO3: Explore and contribute to the utilization of energy and energy management systems to address the current and future energy issues.
Welcome to the electrical engineering department. Electrical Engineering is a vibrant department that has changed the world in which we live and work. Electrical Engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with Generation, Transmission Distribution and Utilization of Electrical Energy. Electrical Engineering Department has been established with a vision to impart practical knowledge of important technical aspects in coordination with various Electrical industries & power sector companies, which help students to specialize in the field.
The department has well established laboratories with basic as well as modern electrical machinery and experimental setups which enable with students to gain knowledge and develop technical skills. The department has well qualified faculty members engaged in teaching learning process with the aim of achieving excellence in the field of Electrical engineering.
The Departmental activities are aimed at developing employable Electrical Engineers with sound technical knowledge as well as commendable personal traits to cater the needs of various Engineering and Allied Industries. A visit of 220 KV Substation GETCO Navsari was arranged on 02/08/2019. 30 students ( 3rd and 5th sem ) of Electrical Engineering Department had visited the Substation where Students have gained practical knowledge about working of Power Plant and different instruments used in Power Plant.
A visit of Shree Chalthan Vibhag Khand Udyog Sahakari Mandali Limited Chalthan was arranged on 15/02/2019. 6th sem Electrical Engineering Department had visited the factory.

A concrete gravity dam, 1210 meters (3970 feet) in length and with a maximum height of 163 meters above the deepest foundation level, is under construction across river Narmada.
The dam will be the third highest concrete dam (163 meters) in India, the first two being Bhakra (226 metres) in Himachal Pradesh and Lakhwar (192 meters) in Uttar Pradesh.
In terms of the volume of concrete involved for gravity dams, this dam will be ranking as the second largest in the world with an aggregate volume of 6.82 million cu.m. This visit helps students to understand the hydraulic structure and irrigation water management.
